New pavine N-oxide alkaloids from the stem bark of Cryptocarya chinensis Hemsl.
Three new pavine N-oxide alkaloids, (-)-isocaryachine-N-oxide B, (+)-caryachine-N-oxide, (-)-caryachine-N-oxide, and a new isoquinoline alkaloid, 6,7-methylenedioxy-N-methylisoquinoline together with 11 known alkaloids were isolated and characterized from the stem bark of Cryptocarya chinensis. The structures of the isolated compounds were determined by spectral methods. The stereochemistry of ...
متن کاملAphorpines and benzylisoquinoline alkaloids from bark of Cryptocarya crassinervia
Two aphorpine alkaloids, (+)-lirinine 1 and (+)-lirioferine 2 and two bezylisoquinoline alkaloids (+)reticuline 3 and (-)-N-Methylisococlaurine 4 were isolated from bark of Cryptocarya crassinervia. The structures were elucidated by spectral analysis, including 1D-NMR (H, C, DEPT), 2D-NMR (COSY, HMQC, HMBC), UV, IR, and MS and comparison with the published data.
متن کاملAntiplasmodial alkaloids from the bark of Cryptocarya nigra (Lauraceae).
A dichloromethane extract of the stem bark of Cryptocarya nigra showed strong in vitro inhibition of Plasmodium falciparum growth, with an IC50 value of 2.82 μg/mL. The phytochemical study of this extract has led to the isolation and characterization of four known alkaloids: (+)-N-methylisococlaurine (1), atherosperminine (2), 2-hydroxyathersperminine (3), and noratherosperminine (4). Structura...
متن کاملLignans from Leaves of Juniperus Chinensis
Umbelliferone, 13 lignans and an unusual compound 2-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)propane-1,3-diol, were isolated from the leaves of Juniperus chinensis. The lignans include meso-secoisolariciresinol, 3,4-methylenedioxy-3’,4’dimethoxylignan-9’,9-olide, hibalactone, isohibalactone, 7-oxohinokinin, 7-hydroxyhinokinin, 7-acetyloxyhinokinin, (+ )-xanthoxylol, dihydrodehydrodiconiferyl alcohol, 3-methox...
متن کاملPhytochemical Analysis of Alkaloids from the Chilean Endemic Tree Cryptocarya Alba
A phytochemical study of the roots and aerial parts of Cryptocarya alba (Mol.) Looser (Lauraceae), an endemic Chilean tree and the southernmost Cryptocarya species, led for the first time to the isolation and unambiguous characterization of four known alkaloids by NMR techniques: boldine, laurolitsine, laurotetanine and norglaucine, in addition to the previously identified reticuline, and the i...
